Ante Natal Personal Training

A pregnancy doesn’t mean you have to stop exercising, in fact exercising throughout your pregnancy will mean you are fit and healthy for delivery and the demands of motherhood! Benefits of exercise in the ante natal period  include:

- improves posture and reduces lordosis/lower body pain

- strengthens pelvic floor and core

- improves circulation and reduce risk of varicose veins

- aids recovery from birth

- improves sleep

- Some evidence suggests that the foetus also benefits with increased stress tolerance, neurobehavioural development and reduced distress during labour

 

However it can be scary knowing what to do/not to do during pregnancy and 1-2-1 coaching offers the comfort of putting this in professional hands.

 

Cost: £70/hour, £325 for 5 sessions or £600 for 10 sessions (peak times).

Online Ante Natal Programmes with Sarah

 

Having undergone two pregnancies (and labours!) myself I have gained a lot of first hand experience of the weird and wonderful changes that occur during this fascinating period of life. I have also trained a number of pregnant mums, as well as myself, and have learnt the best exercises to keep the body strong and capable throughout pregnancy, for labour and the aftermath. I have therefore combined this expertise into 12 week programmes, carefully tailored to each client (believe me, every pregnancy is different!) with plans that can be performed in the gym, home or outdoors, plus nutritional assistance to support a healthy pregnancy, and some helpful tips for labour and the immediate aftermath.
